Join the Band

The Danville Community Band is comprised of volunteers from Danville and surrounding areas. Members have varied musical backgrounds and represent many professions and range in age from 13 to 80 years. They are dedicated musicians who have a common interest in playing music and improving their skills while having fun.

The group meets most Mondays from 7 to 9 p.m between September and June, at Community Presbyterian Church, 222 W. El Pintado Rd., Danville, California. Visitors are always welcome to drop in and listen.

The band regularly plays Grade 3 (medium advanced) and above level of music. If you are interested in joining the band, please contact Robert Calonico before coming to a rehearsal. The band currently is at capacity, though some exceptions in certain sections may be made upon approval of the Conductor and Section Leader.
